Guidelines & Instructions

Inspired and initiated by Param Pujya Swami Chinmayanandaji, Chinmaya Mission Pune has been conducting the Chinmaya Bhagavad Geeta Chanting Competition for more than two decades now.

This year, the fifth chapter: karmasannyäsayogaḥ has been selected for the Competition.

This year we also have the State level Competition where participants from each city (centers) will move ahead and compete at the State level. The number of shlokas to be memorized will remain the same as it was for the Center level.

Entry Donation: ₹ 100/- per participant

The Preliminary round will be conducted in the month of October 2024 and dates will be communicated to all registered participants.

In the Preliminary & Final round, participants of all the above Groups must memorize the allotted verses.
Points to be noted:
  1. All participants must register for the Competition first.
  2. Learning aid AUDIO MP3 of Ch. 5 and the Shloka pdf are available for free. Please check the Resources tab.
  3. Tune to be as per prescribed in Learning Aid only.
  4. The audio file has each shloka repeated twice for learning purpose however the child has to recite each shloka only once for the Competition.
  5. The decision of the Chinmaya Mission Judges will be final in all respects.
  6. Certificate of Participation will be given to all participants if they chant a minimum of 2 verses.

State Level:

The State level Finals will be conducted in the month of January 2025.
